Is the Momcozy Breast Pump Worth the Money? My Honest Review of the Momcozy vs Amazon Budget Pump
Momcozy vs Amazon’s Budget Breast Pump

The Best Wearable Electric Breast Pump
The number one advice I would give to first time mum’s who are breastfeeding…
Get an electric breast pump.
ASAP.
This allows you a couple of hours respite!
As your partner can now help with the feeds.
However they can be pricey…
I tried Amazon’s budget Haokoo for £85 and the Momcozy for £169.
Let’s see which one I’d recommend and why…

Amazon’s Haokoo Breast Pump
This was the first breast pump I tried…
It had quite good reviews and didn’t feel like it was breaking the bank.
I remember it being a FAFF to put together.
It has so many parts to it, and with my sleep deprived brain I actually had to get my partner to put it together.

It Leaks…
If you look in the middle of the pump, the milk doesn’t drop down quick enough.
Therefore it then leaks back onto you.
Lovely.
This was sent back to Amazon straight away.

Momcozy To the Rescue
The Momcozy M5 Smart Breastpump…
It’s electric, mobile, snazzy and actually works.
I used it for 10 months and the suction did not fail once.
It was also so easy to put together.
Which is exactly what us sleep deprived mum’s need.
There’s two parts…
The top is the machine part and the bottom is the pump that collects the milk.

Easy Settings
The Momcozy has a ‘stimulation’ setting to warm up the nipple.
And then an expression setting to really ramp up the milk production.
“It runs for 30 minutes and you can see the timer on the screen at all times”
It has a simple up and down button.
And the bars along the bottom is how much charge is left.
It. Is. Easy.

5oz of Milk in 30 Minutes
With absolutely no pain at all…
After 30 minutes I easily have 5oz of milk in the Momcozy.
The part that collects the milk even has measurements on so you can see how much you have pumped.
Once you’ve got enough milk, you simply clip the top part off…
And pour it into a breastmilk storage bag ↓

The Pump Every Mum Needs
It’s not the most expensive pump on the market, but it does everything you need.
It’s efficient.
It’s pain-free.
It doesn’t leak.
The charge lasts a long time.
And the best part?
It comes with a cute little storage bag.
So you can safely have your pump wherever you need it, and no one will know what’s inside!

My top tips for starting with the pump:
- Put the pump on straight after a feed on the boob you didn’t feed on
2. Pump as early as possible in the day (your milk is replenished overnight)
3. Invest in a pair of Hakka’s and have these on the boob you’re not pumping!
