Which Sleep Pod Is Best For Your Baby?
When I was looking for the best baby pod, I was torn between the Najell SleepCarrier X and the Purflo Sleep Tight Baby Bed.
Both are marketed for safe sleep.
Both look cute & chic in the house.
And both promise a handy nap environment for your baby.
In my pregnant panic I bought both, but which one would I recommend?

The Purflo Sleep Tight Nest
This snug, cosy pod has breathable sides and base so air circulates freely, meaning your baby doesn’t overheat!
“Most sleep pods midwives don’t recommend as they’re not tested for safe sleep – Until the Purflo!”
It has a firm flat base and because it’s made with DuPont™ Sorona® it doesn’t flatten over time.
Easy & Mobile
This is my little one in the Purflo on the sofa when he was a few days old.
It was so handy to have around the house.
Wherever we were, I could plonk him in!
I also put the Purflo Nest in his Snuzpod for when he slept at night.
Better Sleep In the Purflo
(In My Opinion)
It fits perfectly in the Snuzpod 3.
I felt like he genuinely slept better as it felt more snug.
And because it is safe sleep tested I had no worries about it either!

So like I said I panicked when I was pregnant and bought this one week before I was due.
I couldn’t resist the stunning boucle look of this sleep carrier.
The fact it’s also sleep safe for overnight was perfect.
It’s mesh all the way round so where ever your baby’s face is, they’re safe.
The Najell Is Made Beautifully
The straps are solid.
So you can definitely carry your baby around the house whenever you please.
I will be honest – I didn’t use the mobile aspect as much as I thought I would.
Because I have the Owlet Sock, I was pretty happy leaving him asleep if I needed to pop downstairs.
But it definitely did come in handy for something…
The Najell SleepCarrier Is the Best Travel Cot!
Every time we went away for the night, this was perfect.
“I’d put my little one in the bag on the floor next to my bed, and he’d sleep perfectly all night!”
It’s so light and mobile – so it’s so handy to take on holiday with you.
Or take anywhere with you.

The Best Sleep Nest For Your Newborn?
To have overnight in your next to me crib, and dotted around the house for whenever your little one falls asleep…
I would recommend the Purflo Sleep Nest.
Especially from newborn – it just feels safer when they’re so tiny!
The wider base and mesh sides that also gives them a little pillow to rest their head against, I found myself using this one a lot more.

Travel Plans?
If you have any travel plans after your little one is born, I would 100% recommend getting yourself the Najell Sleep Carrier X.
It’s a luxury travel cot, that you know is sleep safe, and it’s so light and compact to take with you.
(The actual travel cots are so big and heavy to carry around – would definitely recommend just getting one of these instead!)
